Direct Counsel is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join a national law firm with a strong and growing employment practice in Washington. This is a great opportunity for a confident and motivated attorney to handle complex employment defense matters within a collaborative, well-respected team.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years of experience in employment litigation.
• A solid understanding of federal and Washington employment laws and regulations.
• Prior experience at a large defense firm or a boutique handling sophisticated employment cases.
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills, with an emphasis on practical problem-solving.

The associate's practice will focus primarily on employment litigation matters, including defending employers in single-plaintiff and multi-party disputes.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Membership (or pending membership) in the Washington State Bar.
• A proactive, client-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $225,000-$330,000, depending on experience.
