Job Tittle: Quality Analyst Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Day 1 Onsite Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst (Release Testing) with strong expertise in automation, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BaNCS and a proven ability to support release cycles in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. Responsibilities:
Perform release testing, integration testing, and validation of software builds.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Conduct REST API testing using tools such as ReadyAPI and Postman.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Analyze test results, document defects, and track them through resolution.
Work extensively with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Ensure smooth deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, Chef, XL Release, and Maven.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and production readiness activities.
Provide recommendations to improve testing processes and overall product quality.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of experience in release testing or QA in enterprise environments.
Experience with BaNCS (required).
Strong background with software test automation tools and frameworks.
Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases.
Hands-on experience with REST API testing (ReadyAPI, Postman).
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, and deployment tools.
Experience :
Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Builds)
Jenkins, Chef, XL Release, Maven
Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
