SUMMARY

Responsible for overall management and processes of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. Ensure that plans are administered consistent with plan rules and regulatory compliant. A hands-on and solutions-driven role for retirement process including data integrity and accuracy, and continuous improvement. Serve as a subject matter expert for the Company's retirement plans, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.

  • Ensure all aspect of retirement plans are in compliance with plan documents and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with ERISA Counsel and recordkeeper, investment consultants to stay informed on legislative changes impacting retirement and proactively manage processes and programs to remain compliant.

  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders for appropriate plan administration and compliance.

  • Establish relationships with recordkeeper and investment advisors, monitor service level agreements are achieve and programs are effective.

  • Complete annual regulatory activities with a high level of accuracy including Form 5500, plan audits, nondiscrimination testing, compliance notices, plan documents, etc.

  • Conduct periodic audit and analysis to monitor issues or data requiring corrections.

  • Provide hands-on administration including financial transactions be completed timely.

  • Serve as project lead for complex projects including retirement plans from Mergers & Acquisitions.

  • Drives participation in retirement initiatives, including financial wellness.

  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required for the Job

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, mathematics, Human Resources or similar degree preferred;

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retirement plan administration, and/or related supervisory/management/project management experience;

  • Experience working with large datasets and creating complex formulas in Excel;

  • General knowledge of ERISA, SECURE 2.0, and other provisions governing retirement plans.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills

  • Microsoft Office skills with advance proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to lead projects and manage competing priorities

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met .
