QC In-Line Tech

We are seeking an energetic, skilled Quality Control - In-line Tech for expansion openings in our facility in Penn Yan, NY. This opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime. Main Functions: This role is responsible for ensuring that product meets required quality standards at each stage of the manufacturing and packaging process. Coordinate KanPak Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction at KanPak. Participate in formulating and administering division’s short- and long-range goals and objectives for business growth.
- Sample product and ensure quality through physical, chemical and sensory evaluation
- Sample packaging and ensure integrity through visual and tear-down examinations
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging formats
- Ensure proper processing through checking and recording parameters
- Other job duties as required
- Maintain compliance with KanPak/GSF Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures, management systems, and all applicable Environmental, Health, Safety and other regulations
- Act according to KanPak’s Creed & Values
- High School Diploma / GED required
- 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent employment preferred
