SUMMARY :

Our client, a well-established Suffolk County law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation, general civil litigation, and landlord/tenant matters. This role offers the opportunity to handle cases from inception through trial in a fast-paced, collaborative, and family-friendly environment that supports long-term growth and development.

RESPONSIBILTIES :

- Handle commercial and civil litigation matters from inception through trial

- Prepare and file court documents

- Manage discovery and e-discovery processes

- Conduct court appearances

- Organize exhibits and case files

- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience

- Experience in commercial litigation, civil litigation, and landlord/tenant matters

- Strong experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice

- Familiarity with state, commercial, and district court procedures

- Federal court experience is a plus

- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, Westlaw, and eDiscovery tools

- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

- Must be licensed to practice law in New York
