Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Application Architect with deep handson expertise in Fiserv Payment Systems specifically the Prop andor North Backend Settlement Platforms This role is critical to supporting platform modernization initiatives including merchant migrations from EndofLife EOL platforms to goforward settlement solutions
This position can only be filled by candidates with direct working knowledge of Fiserv Prop or North Settlement Systems
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Application Architect for Fiserv backend settlement platforms Prop North
Lead and support merchant migrations from EndofLife platforms to modern goforward Fiserv settlement platforms
Define and govern application architecture integration patterns and settlement workflows aligned to Fiserv standards
Partner with product business and operations teams to ensure secure scalable and compliant payment processing
Provide architectural guidance during platform transformation initiatives upgrades and regulatory alignment
Evaluate existing settlement architectures and recommend optimization modernization and riskreduction strategies
Support troubleshooting of complex settlement and transactionprocessing issues across payment systems
Ensure architectural decisions adhere to security performance resiliency and compliance requirements
Collaborate with onsite stakeholders and vendors to deliver highimpact outcomes

Candidates must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered
Handson experience with Fiserv Payment Systems within the last 7 years
Demonstrated working knowledge of Fiserv Prop andor North Backend Settlement Platforms
Proven experience migrating merchants from an EndofLife EOL platform to a goforward settlement platform
Strong understanding of payment settlement transaction lifecycle reconciliation and backend payment processing
Prior experience working in large enterprisescale payment environments
Ability to operate in an onsite clientfacing role
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting Fiservled modernization or platform consolidation initiatives
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex architecture to business stakeholders
Experience in financial services merchant acquiring or payment processing domains
Leadership experience influencing architecture standards and best practices read more
