Direct Counsel is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Resource Attorney for a top-ranked law firm with multiple office locations. This is a non-client-facing role designed to support the M&A group through legal research, precedent development, and knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Database Management - Input and maintain deal terms from signed transactions.
- Form & Precedent Drafting - Develop and organize templates and legal resources for the M&A team.
- Legal Updates - Track and summarize regulatory developments impacting M&A transactions.
- Legal Education - Collaborate on training materials and firmwide legal education initiatives.
- Marketing & Business Development - Assist in content creation for marketing, pitches, and industry outreach.
- Attorney Support - Provide legal resources, templates, and precedent documents to attorneys.
- Knowledge Management & Innovation - Support practice innovation projects and process improvements.
- 7+ years of M&A experience in a US corporate/transactional practice.
- Strong knowledge of public and private M&A, corporate governance, and market trends.
- Exceptional drafting, research, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- A team-oriented approach with flexibility to support evolving initiatives.
- Salary Range: $275,000 - $335,000 (Final offer based on experience and location).
