Adecco is hiring Quality Control - Receiving Associates to work with our client located in Windsor, CT. These are long term opportunities with potential for temp to hire. Description
Performs a variety of functions related to shipping and receiving as dictated by company procedures. Ideal candidate will package ESD sensitive products to customers in a timely manner.
Principle duties
- Inspect and ensure there is no damage of incoming product and counts are accurate
- Ensure ESD ("Electrostatic Discharge") control.
- Interface with managers and peers to resolve issues.
- Responsible to identify potential rejection decisions using documentation, internal manufacturing work instructions and component specification sheets.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials using precision measuring and vision inspection systems.
- Perform visual inspections employing vision inspection systems to detect surface defects or inconsistencies.
- Conduct quality audits on received materials to verify compliance with established standards.
Required Skills / Knowledge- ERP is reviewed for special packaging instructions.
- ERP is reviewed for correct revision and part number verifications.
- Check ERP system to match the data match to components/packing slips
- Identify Component markings and values
- Ability to measure components using multimeter
- Perform detailed inspections for suppliers FAI's
- Ability to work under scope up to 30X Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within manufacturing environments.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
- Ability to perform visual inspections using advanced inspection tools such as vision systems.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with suppliers.
- Experience:
- Experience working in the electronic manufacturing service industry.
- Ability to perform simple computer data entry.
- Ability to read and understand work order requirements.
Physical Effort- Standing and walking with some heavy lifting. Able to lift 20lbs+.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
