Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Casualty and Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal for a leading full-service law firm client. This is an onsite position based in Houston, TX.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role supports a high-performing litigation team handling complex casualty and mass tort matters from inception through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case inception, discovery, trial, and closure
  • Prepare and file court documents and assemble exhibits
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories and document production
  • Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and case materials
  • Maintain case calendars, dockets, and coordinate electronic discovery
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of experience supporting litigation matters, including discovery and trial preparation
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, a Paralegal Certificate is highly desired
  • Strong knowledge of litigation lifecycle and case management processes
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
