www.uamont.eduSummary of Job Duties:The University Police Officer works under general supervision and is responsible for the enforcement of traffic and criminal laws, parking regulations, accident and criminal investigation and/or serving in a supervisory or lead capacity in the public safety operation at UAM, and other duties as assigned. The position is governed by law enforcement standards and institution policy.Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include the formal education equivalent of a high school diploma. Must possess valid state motor vehicle operator's license. Must be certified or be able to become certified within one year of employment by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Certification Training in accordance with ACA 12-9-106, or an approved law enforcement training academy. Must have certification or be properly authorized to carry a weapon for law enforcement duties. Must be able to pass drug test prior to employment.
