Career Strategy Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a growing manufacturing client located in Casa Grande, AZ. This full-time role is responsible for supporting quality control and assurance processes on the production floor, including product testing, auditing, compliance inspections, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product testing in accordance with internal procedures and customer specifications.
  • Perform mechanical property and non-destructive testing, including NDT Level 2 Eddy Current testing.
  • Inspect finished goods and in-process material to ensure conformance to company and customer requirements.
  • Audit production processes and workstations for adherence to the Quality Management System.
  • Support investigation and resolution of material quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Assist with external lab testing, sample preparation, and reporting.
  • Initiate and track corrective action requests for policy or quality violations.
  • Maintain calibration logs and manage calibration schedule for all applicable equipment.
  • Review and maintain documentation such as mill schedules, inspection records, and inventory reports.
  • Prepare quality reports and support filing and documentation processes.
  • Provide coverage for administrative tasks during vacations or absences within the department.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with other departments on quality-related issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or leadership team.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with QMS (Quality Management Systems) preferred.
  • Certified or qualified as an NDT Level 2 Eddy Current Tester (required).
  • Prior manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience with metals or materials testing strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and quality documentation.
  • Proficiency with business systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital reporting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend basic machine operations.
