Hiring Process:
- STEP 1 | National Testing Network. All candidates will register on the , schedule and complete the Law Enforcement test.
- STEP 2 | AZPOST. Create an account with the application and complete an application.
- STEP 3 | Town of Wickenburg Application. Complete a Town of Wickenburg application through the town's
- STEP 4 | Physical Testing. Successful candidates will be invited to complete the Cooper's Physical Test (Non-Gender, Non-Age).
- STEP 5 | Oral Board Interview. Qualified applicants will be invited to an Oral Board Interview.
- STEP 6 | Background Interview & Investigation. The most qualified applicants will be contacted by a police department background investigator via email, mail, and/or telephone to be scheduled for a background interview.
- STEP 7 | Polygraph. The most qualified applicants will be given a polygraph examination (lie detector test) administered by a trained, professional examiner.
- STEP 8 | Psychological. Applicants will be evaluated by a licensed psychologist.
- STEP 9 | Medical Examination. Applicants will undergo a complete medical examination administered by an AZPOST certified physician.
- STEP 10 | Final Offer of Employment. Upon successful completion of the entire employment process, applicants may receive a final offer of employment.
