Associate Attorney to join its
Employment & Trade Secrets Litigation Practice Group. This team handles a uniquely broad mix of work-from high-stakes "bet-the-company" litigation and internal investigations to employment issues arising from major corporate transactions. The practice is dynamic, collaborative, and deeply integrated with clients at the forefront of technology, life sciences, clean energy, and other innovative industries.
Candidate Profile- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
- 2 years of substantive experience, exclusively in management-side employment law litigation and counseling
- Demonstrated experience handling disputes involving non-compete agreements, trade secrets, and employee solicitation matters
- Background advising clients on terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, reductions in force, and employment policies
- Ability to advise on employment issues in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other corporate transactions
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to in-person collaboration in the firm's New York office
Key Responsibilities- Represent employers in complex employment disputes, including trade secret, non-compete, and employment mobility matters
- Advise technology and life sciences clients on terminations, leaves of absence, reductions in force, policy review and creation
- Provide day-to-day counseling to fast-growing companies on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Manage all aspects of litigation from start to finish, collaborating with attorneys across practices to deliver comprehensive client support
- Advise clients on employment aspects of corporate transactions and restructuring, including M&A
- Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on related risk management strategies

Compensation & Benefits- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary is $235,000+ commensurate with experience and class year
