Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acts as a resource for the Patient Access Department and patient access supervisor. Assist with hiring.
Responsible for training new staff, auditing charts, and process/policy implementation. Assist Facility
Administrator at their request.

• Courteously and Professionally greet patients.
• Obtain accurate demographic insurance information.
• Correctly code and verify insurance coverage.
• Collect estimated patient responsibility or screen patient for assistance programs.
• Answer all incoming calls to the facility.
• Provide assistance to patients presenting or calling with billing questions.
• Process medical records requests.

*Rotating Weeks*

Week One: Sun, Tue, Wed, Th, Fri
Week Two: Mon, Tue, We, Th, Sat

Job Requirements

Required

1 year of recent medical office, hospital registration, or banking experience

2 years of customer service experience

Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)

Preferred

Associates Degrfee or a combination of education and job-related experience

1 year of management, supervisor, or lead experience
