Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience as an educational or school-based Sign Language Interpreter strongly preferred
• Capable of providing dedicated 1:1 interpreting services
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff
• Enthusiasm for working with early elementary students

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 ASL interpretation for an elementary school student
• Assist with classroom communication between the student, peers, and teachers
• Ensure accurate and effective communication that supports the student's academic growth
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
