Accounting Manager

A multi-billiion traded company based in the Oak Brook area is seeking is seeking an Accounting Manager to due to continued company growth. The Accounting Manager reports to the Controller and will lead corporate accounting and financial reporting, contribute to purchase accounting, assist with integrating acquired companies, and lead special projects.

Accounting Manager responsibilities:

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP
• Contribute to day to day accounting and financial reporting
• Assist with the budget process and work with finance on forecasting and financial planning and analysis
• Participate and/or lead special ad hoc projects
• Lead a team of corporate accountants

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Manufacturing industry experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• CPA a plus
