Boyd Electric seeks a licensed Journeyman Electrician with experience performing service work in commercial and industrial facilities.

Boyd Electric is a 24-year veteran of the electrical service industry based in Rowlett, TX. We specialize in industrial and commercial electrical applications providing full-time daily support to active production facilities to minimize equipment downtime and 24/7 emergency on-call support as needed. Boyd Electric services high-end car dealerships, city municipal facilities, commercial building operators, and general contractors for new construction and tenant finish-out.

Job Description

• Active Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas (or reciprocating state)
• Active Driver’s License
• Experience with service work in commercial and industrial applications
• Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting skills
• OSHA 30 Certification is a plus
• Experience with Electrical Control Systems
• Ability to establish yourself as a leader and direct junior electricians on the Jobsite
• Ability to read Blueprints and Schematics
• Ability to work all conduit types (EMT, Rigid, Etc.)
• Ability to work with 3 phase systems, contactors, transfer switches, PLCs, ATS, and switch gears
• Ability to operate all lifts
