What You'll Be Doing
A Clinical Field Technician is responsible for traveling to various residential locations throughout the valley and following established research protocol with study participants. You will have a crucial role in supporting clinical research studies by performing a range of tasks related to data collection and study coordination while keeping participant safety and study confidentiality a top priority.
- Assists in the conduct of clinical research studies or trials following established protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Conducts routine experiments and/or coordinates research study procedures in accordance with SOPs; receives, collects, and records study data in database; communicates and keeps researchers and/or PI up to date on any problems or concerns related to the research study or trial.
- Responsible for collecting clinical samples for research including any storage and transportation measures.
- Ensures proper documentation of Case Report Forms, regulatory documents, PI notes, and any other mandatory study-related documents and ensures quality and accuracy; archives documents for study per sponsor, government, and institutional requirements; keeps accurate records and provides necessary documents for regulatory audits.
- Maintains and manages inventory and research study supplies.
- Identify areas to improve research protocol and suggest solutions for implementation.

Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Clinical study facilitation and data collection (50%)
- Travel and transportation (30%)
- Study inventory management (10%)
- Study process improvements (10%)

What You'll Bring to the Table
- Completed college coursework in relevant STEM disciplines.
- Vehicle insurance
- Flexible work hours; Set schedule will be negotiated, but must be able to work Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (25-30 hours/week)
- Able to report into our office in downtown Phoenix at start of shift
- Proficient communication skills.
- High degree of professionalism.
- Previous experience in laboratory or clinical trial visits preferred
- CITI certification preferred
- Must be okay with legal and responsible use of marijuana
