Operating with functional independence from Technical Operations management, the auditor evaluates the performance and effectiveness of internal maintenance divisions, line stations, and external business partners — and ensures findings are documented, risk-assessed, and tracked to corrective action closure.

The Quality Assurance Auditor plans, schedules, and conducts internal and external audits covering: Line Stations, Fuel Farms, Fuel Into Plane (FIP) providers, Essential Maintenance Operations, Spec D facilities, and Repair Stations. The auditor monitors maintenance workmanship and materials to verify compliance with GlobalX approved procedures, applicable FARs, and company policy. The auditor audits completed aircraft records including logbook pages, work cards, non-routines, Engineering Orders (EOs), Engineering Authorizations (EAs), and all associated documentation produced by C-Check, PRN, and Line Maintenance operations.

The Quality Assurance Auditor conducts on-site audits of maintenance providers at required frequencies, evaluating QA programs, RII compliance, calibration programs, shelf-life controls, personnel training, technical data currency, and facilities. The auditor makes recommendations to add or remove companies from the Approved Parts List (APL) / Approved Vendor List (AVL) based on audit results. The auditor verifies that contracted and sub-contracted maintenance agencies meet GlobalX specifications, FAR requirements, and anti-drug/alcohol program compliance.

The Quality Assurance Auditor performs CASS audits independently of Technical Operations Directors and Managers, maintaining functional independence as required by company policy. The auditor conducts preliminary analysis of audit findings; assists management with root cause analysis (RCA), risk assessment, hazard identification, and corrective action plan (CAP) development. The auditor documents findings with objective evidence; enters all audit results, findings, and corrective actions into the company audit tracking system for CASS Review Board presentation. The auditor supports the Manager CASS in preparation of the monthly CASS Audit Report and CASS Review Board presentations, including trend analysis of audit data, reliability reports, and documentation discrepancies. The auditor conducts follow-up audits to verify effectiveness of corrective actions as directed by the CASS Board.

The Quality Assurance Auditor prepares and issues audit reports identifying hazards and risks found during CAMP audits; categorizes findings by risk level and recommends corrective actions to eliminate, mitigate, transfer, or accept risk. The auditor analyzes audit findings and reliability reports for trends involving GlobalX services and business partners; cross-references CASS findings with the Safety Management System (SMS) for risk management as required. The auditor maintains all audit records in accordance with GMM and CASS policies and procedures. The auditor ensures accuracy and completeness of all work documents and records reviewed during audit activities.

The Quality Assurance Auditor delivers training to MX vendors and fuel providers as required.
