The Trial & Litigation Associate is responsible for supporting civil and public-agency litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, handling depositions, and preparing for trial. Candidates must have experience working with public entity clients, demonstrating familiarity with government claims procedures, constitutional and statutory defenses, and litigation involving municipalities, counties, and special districts. The role requires managing complex litigation cases, including electronic discovery, law and motion practice in both state and federal courts, and building a strong case for trial through evidence development, witness interviews, and taking or defending depositions. Proficiency in motion practice, case development, and discovery management is essential. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of Los Angeles, Oakland, or San Diego. The salary range is $180,000 to $245,000, with flexibility for senior candidates.
