Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by performing a variety of technical and administrative duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification and assist with stock replenishment
  • Submit requisitions for medications and supplies under pharmacist guidance
  • Order, receive, and maintain inventory of drugs and chemicals, ensuring proper storage and security
  • Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment, including stock and supplies
  • Accurately enter and maintain data in pharmacy systems (prescriptions, purchase orders, inventory, and disbursements)
  • Assist in removing expired or unnecessary medications and coordinate returns or proper disposal under pharmacist direction
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties as needed
  • Support additional pharmacy-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications
