About the Opportunity: A highly regarded boutique law firm specializing in real estate law is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. This firm provides a collaborative environment, mentorship opportunities, and a clear path for career growth. They are also open to bringing on a skilled solo attorney with an existing book of business or a small two-person firm looking to grow within a larger firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trial or settlement.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, focusing on business, bankruptcy, and financial litigation matters.
- Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft motions, pleadings, and contracts.
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions (ADR).
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver exceptional representation.
- Handle a variety of cases in a fast-paced, high-stakes litigation practice.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, preferably in bankruptcy, real estate, or financial services.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation skills, and legal research abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience working with lenders, mortgage brokers, or business clients is a plus.
- Work on impactful cases in business and financial litigation.
