We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our team as an Inside Sales and Marketing Specialist. This multifaceted role requires an individual who can effectively support both sales and marketing initiatives while partnering closely with the Sales Manager and Product Manager. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with a proactive and resourceful approach to work. This individual thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, and brings a “can-do” attitude to daily responsibilities. The ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing demands, and consistently meet deadlines is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across assigned markets and lead sources.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and manage an active sales pipeline.
  • Maintain consistent and timely follow-up with prospects.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly activity targets (calls, emails, follow-ups).
  • Close sales opportunities efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and customer interactions in HubSpot CRM.
  • Research, source, and verify decision-maker contact information.
  • Drive consistent pipeline growth through ongoing prospecting efforts.
  • Manage customer requests for product samples, pricing, and product information.
  • Manage and process Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) documentation, contracts, and related administrative requirements.
  • Vet and onboard international customers, ensuring required documentation and compliance standards are met.

Marketing Support:

  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Develop sales and marketing materials, including presentations and social media content.
  • Maintain and update company websites and social media platforms.
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletters.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and support related logistics.
  • Organize and coordinate product photo shoots and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct research on target customers, industry trends, and product information.
  • Ensure adequate inventory and distribution of marketing materials (brochures, catalogs, etc.).
  • Support onboarding and training of new and existing sales team members and customers.
  • Provide accurate and detailed product information in response to customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate with external SEO vendor, track basic performance metrics, and ensure website content aligns with overall marketing and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in sales and business development and marketing
  • Experience using a CRM system (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience with outbound prospecting (cold calling, email outreach, lead generation)
  • High attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven assertiveness and the ability to prioritize objectives while proactively seeking solutions.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as AI, Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with Wix website management software or other website programs is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills encompassing verbal, written, proofreading, and grammar.
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, efficiency, independence, and dependability are integral qualities.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing systems and procedures in an office environment.
  • Demonstrated internet research skills.
