Job Summary

This position is responsible for the inspection and measurement of automatic transmission parts to ensure they meet specifications.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret part dimensional features from engineering drawings then render judgement.
2. Responsible for ensuring flow of quality-assured parts to support high volume production
3. Adhere to Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
4. Maintain professional, harmonious relations with other employees
5. Continuously interface with supervisors to communicate problems and develop solutions
6. Accurately record and report inspection and measurement results.
7. Continuously train and develop new skills
8. Analyze and continuously improve processes to increase overall efficiency (Kaizen)
9. Responsible for effective communication to supervisors by use of Stop, Call, and Wait methodology
10. Maintain quarantine areas
11. Interface with, and support, Quality Assurance Specialists for investigations
12. Ensure mission-ready status of assigned process equipment (Pre-Use Inspections and calibration)
13. Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor
