The Florida Department of Military Affairs is seeking a Locksmith II. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of locks and door hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and possess the necessary skills to perform the duties of the job.

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in maintenance and repair of locks and door hardware or related work.
Physical Requirements: The job requires climbing ladders, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates and participates in repairing locks using hand tools and other equipment. Orders, purchases, and installs locking mechanisms and door hardware. Cuts duplicate keys and maintains a log of keys issued or returned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of key cutting procedures, methods for installing, disassembling, and repairing locks, skills in operating a key-cutting machine, and the ability to follow instructions.
