Senior Litigation Associate
Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office.

Los Angeles, California
Position OverviewThis opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigation attorney with a strong background in financial services litigation and trusts and estates disputes. The role offers significant client interaction and the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters for clients across a broad range of industries, both nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Handle complex litigation matters involving:
- Financial services disputes
- Trusts and estates litigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
- Manage traditional and electronic discovery
- Assist with and take/defend depositions
- Appear before state and federal courts
- Collaborate with litigation teams on high-level case management and trial preparation
- Minimum 6 years of litigation experience
- Strong background in financial services and trusts & estates litigation
- Appellate experience preferred
- Experience practicing at a mid-sized or large law firm strongly preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience managing discovery and handling depositions
- Admission and good standing with the California Bar required
- Federal clerkship experience is a plus
- Law Review experience strongly preferred

- Salary Range: $340,000 – $410,000 annually
Compensation is based on experience and other job-related factors.
