Structured Literacy Tutor

Montgomery County Educational Service Center is seeking a part-time structured literacy tutor for the Language & Literacy Center, located on the Learning Center East Campus. The start date is June 22, 2026, with a salary of $80.00 per hour. This position focuses on delivering explicit, systematic, and multisensory reading instruction aligned to the science of reading. Ideal candidates are committed to meeting the needs of diverse learners and using data to guide instruction and monitor progress. Candidates with structured literacy certification are strongly preferred. At minimum, applicants should have completed coursework grounded in the science of reading and demonstrate a clear understanding of language and literacy evidence-based.
