Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) II
Bear Mountain, a division of All Native Group and Ho Chunk, Incorporated, is seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) II to be responsible for the rigorous editorial and technical review of all Career Training Continuum (CTC) deliverables. Reporting to the QAS III, you serve as a key gatekeeper, ensuring that every instructional product meets the NETC Style Guide, NAVEDTRA 142 standards, and Section 508 accessibility mandates. You conduct detailed audits of courseware revisions to identify and correct curriculum errors, ensuring that learning objectives, assessment items, and IMI assets are correctly aligned and technically sound.
Essential Functions
- Compliance Auditing: Conduct comprehensive technical and editorial reviews of all training materials, focusing on instructional integrity and adherence to the NETC NAVEDTRA 142.
- Section 508 Review: Verify that all multi-media products, including Adobe Captivate conversions, comply with accessibility standards for the modern Sailor.
- Pilot Support: Assist in the collection and synthesis of pilot comments at training sites, ensuring all identified errors are documented for post-pilot remediation.
- Standardization: Maintain "Team BMSC" quality standards across multiple rating portfolios to ensure a seamless final curriculum delivery.

- Capability to lead a team of subject matter experts in a high-tempo curriculum development environment
- Demonstrated experience working in all five phases of the Instructional Systems Design model
- Demonstrated experience creating assessments
- Excellent writing, proofreading and design skills to develop training course materials
- Must possess excellent written and spoken use of the English language
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
