Quality Control Technician (part-time)

Join the Quality Control Department at Solenis. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional for a part-time role (16-20 hours per week) focused on weekend operations. You will be responsible for supporting the site with quality control analysis for finished products manufactured at our Suffolk plant.

Key responsibilities:

• Analytical Testing: Perform QC analysis on finished products and document data according to site protocols.
• Technical Growth: Master new analytical techniques and operate laboratory instrumentation.
• Safety Excellence: Strictly follow laboratory protocols when handling hazardous chemicals.

Schedule & Availability

• Hours: Approximately 16-20 hours per week
• Shift Requirement: Primary availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required (day shift)
• Flexibility: Occasional weekday hours may be available for training or special projects as required

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in chemistry or science.
• Laboratory Expertise: Proven experience following laboratory procedures.
• Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to safety protocols for hazardous chemicals.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $52,760.00 and $77,374.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
