Human Resources Intern
Job Overview: The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team in delivering high quality service across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations. This role provides hands on exposure to core HR functions and offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional business environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and interested in developing a career in Human Resources.
Department Overview: Administer programs for all employees to support a positive work environment. Administer employee benefits, payroll, employment policies, hiring, and employee evaluation processes. Implement strategies for recruiting, succession, compensation, and employee performance. Provide programs to aid in accomplishing department and strategic objectives in areas such as leadership and employee development, including education and training.
Job Details
Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Support
- Assist with job postings, resume screening, and candidate communications.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Support career fair preparation and attend events as needed.
- Assist with new hire onboarding documentation and orientation preparation.
HR Operations and Administration
- Maintain employee files and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Support data entry and reporting within HR systems.
- Assist with updating policies, procedures, and internal HR resources.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
Employee Engagement and Projects
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Support internal communications and HR related announcements.
- Participate in special projects such as process improvement initiatives, surveys, or compliance audits.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and present findings as requested.
Compliance and Confidentiality
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Support HR in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
Job Requirements

Work Arrangement
