Position Summary:
The candidate chosen to fulfill the City’s internship position will be involved with projects alongside the day to day duties involved in the operation of a municipality. The intern will gain experience working in a professional office environment and out in the field, and may have the opportunity to directly interact with internal city employees, department heads, members of the general public, and other municipalities. The intern will report directly to the department head or designee in the department to which assigned.

Mobility to work in typical office settings using standard office equipment is required. In addition, vision to read printed materials and computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
