Accounting Manager

Focus Search LLC is recruiting for an Accounting Manager with a rapidly growing health tech ecommerce company, headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. This role is fully remote and will work closely with the Financial Controller. They are looking for a senior finance professional responsible for leading end-to-end accounting operations, including revenue recognition, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and financial reporting. The role emphasizes driving efficiency through AI, automation, and scalable processes while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness. Working cross-functionally with finance and business teams, the Accounting Manager provides financial insights, supports audits and compliance, and helps build a high-performing accounting function to support company growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA desired
• 5+ years of combined public accounting and industry experience
• Deep experience with CPG product companies is required, ideally direct-to-consumer, with overseas manufacturing operations
• Proven ability to leverage technology in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Preference for candidates on the East Coast
