What You’ll Do As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping trailers safe, functional, and road-ready. Responsibilities include: Perform service, repairs, maintenance, and accessory installations on new and used trailers and tow vehicles Diagnose and repair bearings, lights, wiring, brake assemblies, and trailer components Complete trailer repacks, redecks, welding repairs, and general fabrication work Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters and cutting torches Inspect, clean, and quality-check welds to ensure high workmanship standards Conduct multi-point inspections to identify service and parts needs Assist customers with trailer hookups and perform visual safety inspections Complete warranty work and service documentation accurately and on time Assemble, move, and park trailers safely Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain workflow and service schedules Support troubleshooting and problem-solving for fabrication and welding projects What We’re Looking For Proven welding experience and mechanical aptitude Valid driver’s license Ability to operate a forklift (or willingness to learn) Reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to provide excellent customer service Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2–3 years of related experience in trailer repair, welding, fabrication, or mechanical service Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching Ability to lift up to 70 pounds safely and recognize team lifting opportunities Why Join Motion Trailer Worx?
