Pharmacists process prescription orders for outpatients, monitor patient drug therapies, and provide drug information and patient education. Pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager. Must be patient-focused, team-oriented and have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy
Experience
• Preferred: Post-graduate Pharmacy Residency Training
Skills
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems such as excel, word, and power point
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
Licensure/Certification/Registration
• Licensed by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or eligible for licensure by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist and obtains licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire Education: Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency Experience: Required: No Prior Experience Required Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training Skills: None specified Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or registry eligible and obtain within 90 days of hire Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
