Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Schedule: M-F, 8AM-5PM CST

Hybrid Setup: 1-2 Days Per Week in Office Based on Business Needs

Pay Range: $100K-$125K BOE

Job Type: Full-Time; Salary Exempt

Overview:

A growing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to support a specialized business segment. This role will oversee accounting, reporting, and controls while partnering cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead close processes and oversee financial reporting
• Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis
• Support third-party and regulatory reporting
• Oversee cash activity, settlements, and account balances
• Analyze results against budget and forecast
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Partner across finance and operations to improve processes
• Support audits and special projects
• Lead and develop a small accounting team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA preferred
• 3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Leadership experience managing or mentoring staff
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and reconciliation experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Workday or BlackLine
• Background in insurance, warranty, or service contract environments
• Exposure to audit or regulatory reporting
