Finance / Finance Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Financial Systems Analyst / Revenue Operations Specialist to support and optimize our financial data systems and reporting processes. In this role, you will bridge finance and technology by managing system integrations, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insights that support business performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Systems & Data Reconciliation

• Manage daily financial data reconciliation across integrated platforms (e.g., POS systems, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms).
• Connect and maintain integrations with systems such as Shopify POS, Stripe, and Toast POS to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor and validate transaction data across cash, card, and digital payment channels.

Revenue Data & Analytics

• Track and analyze revenue streams across multiple business units (e.g., memberships, retail, services).
• Analyze cost structures, margins, and financial performance using data tools.
• Support pricing optimization and evaluate promotional performance through data insights.

Vendor Systems & Payment Operations

• Manage vendor-related financial systems, including billing workflows, purchase orders, and payment cycles (Net 30/60).
• Track Accounts Payable within financial or ERP systems.
• Support inventory and procurement-related financial data tracking through integrated systems

Financial Systems & Process Optimization

• Establish and improve financial workflows within systems (e.g., POS transactions, refunds, stored value/recharge systems).
• Assist in generating automated financial reports (daily, weekly, monthly) through dashboards or reporting tools.
• Collaborate with operations and IT teams to ensure system logic aligns with financial processes and controls.

Compliance & Data Governance Support

• Assist in managing sales tax data within systems and ensure proper categorization.
• Support external accountants or CPAs by preparing system-generated financial data.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across all financial systems.
  

Requirements:

• Experience in financial systems, accounting technology, data analysis, or revenue operations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (required), with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Familiarity with POS systems, payment platforms, or financial software integrations.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to coordinate with vendors and system providers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Shopify, Toast POS, or Stripe.
• Experience with inventory systems or supply chain-related data.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese.
