Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by actively managing the full sales cycle through in person meetings, phone and email outreach. This role focuses on expanding market share, developing new business and strengthening existing customer relationships. Success in this position requires a proactive, results driven approach, and consistent achievement of sales goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Execute a proactive sales strategy focused on revenue growth and competitive margin management * Apply a consultative sales approach to identify customer needs and uncover new opportunities * Schedule and lead in-person meetings to strengthen partnerships and expand accounts * Present and demonstrate products and services effectively * Communicate proactively with customers through calls, email, and in-person interactions * Grow existing accounts through effective upselling, cross-selling, and promotion of marketing initiatives * Resolve customer issues quickly and effectively to maintain satisfaction and long-term loyalty * Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets * Prepare quotes, enter orders, and maintain accurate customer data within the CRM system * Drive business growth by prospecting, cold calling, and developing new customer relationships * Maintain a strong understanding of market positioning to effectively compete and win business * Manage and track orders, including follow-up on backorders and order status updates * Collaborate cross-functionally to support team goals and deliver a seamless customer experience * Represent Jendco professionally at all times, reinforcing company values and brand reputation Education and Experience * 2+ years outside B2B sales experience (industrial preferred) * Experience in small to mid-size business environments * High school diploma (or equivalent) and valid driver's license * Associate's degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred Skills and Qualifications * Strong communication (written and verbal) * Excellent time management and self-motivation * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment * Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude * Adaptable; able to work effectively with diverse personalities * Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace * Experience with CRM systems (NetSuite preferred) * Strong typing and general computer skills Physical Requirements: The following physical activities described are a representation of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
