Handyman / Maintenance Technician

Location: Bridgeport / Surrounding Areas

Compensation: Starting at $35 an hour, with optional "per job" pay

We’re a growing handyman business focused on high‐quality work, honest communication, and dependable service. We handle residential repairs, small renovations, and general maintenance. We’re looking for a skilled, motivated individual who takes pride in their craft and enjoys helping customers solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman tasks: repairs, installations, maintenance
• Diagnose issues and provide clear solutions to customers
• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Document work performed (photos, notes, materials used)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Willing to train and learn power and hand tools
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical tasks

About the Position

- Meeting up in the morning before work, picking up necessary supplies, and heading to the job site. You'll be riding along with the company owner until you're comfortable and confident in taking on jobs alone.

- There's no set days for work, this is a customer driven business. But I'm incredibly flexible on time and as long as you show up and are willing to learn there's really good opportunities to grow and make good money.
