Avera Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist / CT Technologist / MRI Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our regional health system. Based in our hospital and clinic settings, this role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in radiography, computed tomography (CT), and/or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), depending on certification and department needs. The technologist will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to ensure accurate imaging, patient safety, and timely completion of exams. Typical duties include preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment according to established protocols, verifying patient identification and exam orders, applying radiation safety and infection control standards, and monitoring patients for comfort and clinical status throughout the procedure. The technologist will review images for diagnostic quality, document required technical information in the electronic health record, and assist radiologists with contrast administration and specialized procedures as permitted by licensure and policy.
