MetroVet Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our growing small-animal practice in Boston, MA. As a full-service, independently owned clinic, we are dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality medicine and surgery for dogs and cats, with a strong emphasis on client education, clear communication, and collaborative care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care including wellness and preventive services, internal medicine workups, general surgery, and dentistry. You will perform thorough physical examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, interpret lab work and imaging, and communicate clearly with clients to help them make informed decisions about their pets’ health. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing both routine and urgent cases, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and values a thoughtful, individualized approach to care. You should be confident (or eager to grow) in soft tissue surgery and dentistry, including extractions, and be open to integrating new technologies, protocols, and evidence-based medicine into daily practice. Newer graduates are welcome to apply; we offer mentorship, case support, and a learning-focused culture that encourages questions, collaboration, and continuous professional development. MetroVet Veterinary Clinic offers a modern, well-equipped facility with digital radiography, in-house laboratory capabilities, dental radiography, and access to advanced diagnostics and specialty referrals as needed. You will be supported in maintaining a sustainable schedule that prioritizes work-life balance, with reasonable appointment lengths and time reserved for client communication and medical records. Our culture emphasizes mutual respect, constructive feedback, and shared responsibility for upholding high standards of care and service. We are looking for a veterinarian who aligns with our community-focused values, takes pride in compassionate communication, and is motivated to grow clinically and professionally. This position offers a competitive salary with bonus potential, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for continuing education and professional growth within a stable, collegial environment dedicated to excellent veterinary care.
