<p ><strong><span >Direct Hire Process Engineer Manager</span></strong></p><p ><em><strong><span >MUST HAVE Plating or Chemical Engineering exp.</span></strong></em></p><p ><span ><br><strong>Minnetonka, MN</strong><br><strong>Up to $120,000</strong><br><br></span></p><p >Local manufacturing company is hiring a Process Engineering Manager for their largest U.S printed circuit board facility located MN. </p><p >Duties/Responsibilities:</p><ul><li >Leads a team of approximately 8-12 employees across our process engineering and chemical laboratory departments.</li><li >Develops and supports direct reports.</li><li >Participates in the development and control of manufacturing processes to ensure product compliance and efficient production.</li><li >Develops and maintains manufacturing process control plans and area standard operating procedures.</li><li >Oversees the manufacture of products, works closely with manufacturing personnel and ensures quality requirements are consistently met.</li><li >Applies a methodical approach to problem solving and has an ability to utilize statistical tools to control processes and assist in the identification of continuous improvement opportunities and recommended actions.</li><li >Supports training of manufacturing personnel to area procedures.</li><li >Evaluates and assists in real-time problem resolution</li><li >Delivers progress, project plans and yield reports to management on an on-going basis and/or as requested.</li><li >Participates in the identification of equipment and materials requirements and in formalizing specifications.</li><li >Provides DFM support for new projects as requested</li><li >Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p >Required Skills/Abilities:</p><ul><li >10+ years of proven success in manufacturing environments implementing and documenting processes, improving yields and working with cross functional teams.</li><li >Strong problem-solving skills. Formal approach to problem resolution.</li><li >Able to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization and in both personal and group settings.</li><li >Ability to develop and guide team members.</li><li >Highly organized and detailed oriented</li><li >Understanding of lean practices and statistical process control</li><li >Ability to set and meet goals, and communicate priorities effectively to the engineering team, production operators, peers and management.</li><li >Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.</li><li >Must be able to work well as a member of the Minnetonka management team, take initiative and support development of direct and indirect reports.</li></ul><p >Education and Experience:</p><ul><li >Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred. Other educational backgrounds will be considered based on the candidate’s work experience.</li><li >Printed circuit board, solar, semiconductor, plating operations or circuit board assembly experience preferred.
