TheUltrasound Technologist performs, under routine supervision, Ob/Gyn sonograms, biophysical profiles, non-stresstestsand AFI's.Assistswith amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling procedures. Apply today and learn how MedStar Health can be your next great career move! Primary Duties: Performs sonographic evaluations of fetal morphology, age, growth assessment, and color doppler studies. Performs ultrasound examsutilizingdifferent scanning modalities as required by the patient's condition and/or examination requested. Evaluates images for quality. Photographsappropriate imagesutilizing multiformat cameras. May access, manipulate, store, and print M.I. digital images. Reviews processed images with physicians. Entersdata to generate sonographic report. Works with physicians, nursingstaffand schedulers to ensure patients are seen promptly. Mayassistin training and education of patients, employees, physicians,studentsand/or other healthcare professionals. Cleans andsterilizesequipment and procedure table before and after each procedure. Maybe responsible fororassistincontrolinventory andpurchasing ofsupplies for assigned area. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound. 1-2 years in OB/GYN ultrasound. RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registered within 180 days of hire. NT certification within 1 year of hire. This position has a hiring range of : USD $35.68 - USD $64.71 /Hr.
