Medical, dental & vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off & holidays Overtime opportunities Career advancement pathways Ongoing training & development Modern equipment & technology Safety-first work culture Job Details Key Responsibilities & Duties Supervise and direct daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping across dry-van and temperature-controlled freight environments Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse associates through task assignment, productivity monitoring, and real-time coaching to uphold performance standards Coordinate with transportation specialists and dispatch teams to ensure on-time loading and delivery in alignment with customer appointment windows and SLA requirements Oversee intermodal, freight management, and truck brokerage staging to support seamless end-to-end distribution workflows Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and support EDI and document imaging processes Enforce all safety protocols, OSHA compliance standards, and company policies; conduct regular safety observations and toolbox talks Manage equipment usage including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock equipment; ensure proper maintenance and timely issue reporting Resolve operational challenges and shipping discrepancies with urgency, communicating proactively with internal teams and customers Handle special shipping requirements including critical appointment freight, out-of-route shipments, and high-value or sensitive loads Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, reduce errors, and improve accuracy Prepare shift reports, productivity metrics, and incident documentation as required Qualifications Needed: High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or relevant logistics/supply chain certification a plus Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory or lead experience in a transportation, logistics, or distribution environment Working knowledge of warehousing operations including receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, and shipping Experience with WMS platforms and warehouse technologies; familiarity with satellite tracking and EDI systems a plus Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire); experience operating stand-up, sit-down, and reach trucks preferred Solid understanding of DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and warehouse safety best practices Proven ability to lead teams by example, hold associates accountable, and foster a positive, high-performance work culture Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to generate basic reports and track KPIs Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface across departments and with external partners Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or as operational needs require Interested in hearing more?
