Registered Nurse

OhioHealth is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As part of a not-for-profit, charitable healthcare system of 29 hospitals and more than 200 ambulatory sites across Ohio, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations while supporting our mission to improve the health of those we serve. In this role, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor patient responses and clinical status. You will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensure continuity across the care continuum, and support smooth transitions and discharge planning. You will document all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record, maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols, and use clinical judgment to prioritize and respond to changes in patient condition. The Registered Nurse will educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and self-care strategies, supporting informed decision-making and promoting long-term health and wellness in the community.
