Accounting Supervisor (42524)

Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounting Supervisor. This company is looking for someone with 4+ years of accounting experience, manufacturing or distribution industry experience and highly organized and detailed-oriented. This role is hybrid.

The salary range for this position is $75-100k.

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and accruals
• Provide analysis on variances and trends
• Maintain and reconcile complex accounts
• Assist with audits
• Maintain documentation of internal controls
• Identify process improvements
• Implement efficiencies
• Assist with ERP implementation
• Partner with cross-functional teams
• Mentor accounting staff

The Accounting Supervisor will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field required
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
