Placement Associate – Commercial Lines | Brown & Brown Insurance | Portland, OR

What You'll Do

• Support Marketing Analysts in placing new and renewal commercial insurance accounts
• Prepare premium rate comparisons, coverage analyses, and loss reports
• Rate accounts across multiple carrier quoting systems
• Assist in building proposals for client presentations
• Build relationships with underwriters and wholesale brokers
• Maintain accurate client and policy data in our management system

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 1+ year of related experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word & Excel)
• AMS360 experience is a plus
• Insurance agency experience is a strong plus
• Active P&C license is a plus (and reflected in compensation)

Compensation $24.04/hr — up to $27.00/hr for licensed candidates with agency experience
