Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join a growing property management company in Dallas. This individual will oversee corporate accounting operations, investor distributions, budgets and general financial responsibilities while managing a small accounting team. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to leadership and an opportunity to play a key part in the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all corporate accounting functions, including monthly close and financial reporting
• Manage banking relationships, cash management, and daily cash flow activity
• Coordinate and process investor distributions accurately and timely
• Supervise AP, and Accouting Associates providing leadership and mentorship
• Review reconciliations, general ledger activity, and financial statements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate or property management
• Prior management experience overseeing accounting staff
• Strong understanding of corporate accounting, cash management, and financial reporting
• Experience with Yardi or similar accounting/property management software preferred
• Highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills

Compensation:

• Up to $130,000 base salary DOE
