Position Overview

A growing, multi-site manufacturer is seeking an Accounting Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable leadership and process improvement. This role partners closely with the Controller and will oversee an AP team supporting multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable operations across multiple sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 3–4 AP professionals, with potential for team growth
• Support month-end close processes related to AP, including accruals and reconciliations
• Drive process improvements, enhance internal controls, and optimize workflows in a scaling environment
• Partner with cross-functional teams across operations and site locations
• Operate with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced, growing organization

Required Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments
• Prior people management experience required
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting with an emphasis on AP
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP experience (Plex preferred; Oracle, Dynamics 365, or similar transferable systems)

Work Arrangement

• Preferred onsite in Belleview, TN
• Hybrid flexibility may be considered depending on candidate location
