Cabinet Builder

General Summary: Operation and maintenance of woodworking machines, power tools, pneumatic tools and hand tools, to cut and assemble cabinet components according to blueprints.

Essential Job Functions

• Operation and maintenance of woodworking machines, power tools, pneumatic tools and hand tools, to cut and assemble cabinet components according to blueprints
• Knowledge of building materials
• Provide excellent teamwork and customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Able to custom build pieces in an efficient manner

Physical demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel, and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment and schedule:

• Normal business hours: Monday - Thursday, 7 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 7 am - 11 am
• Ability to work overtime as requested
• Periodic night and weekend work may be necessary
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by management

Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to read a professional tape measure and blueprints (a plus)
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to move, lift and carry cabinets or cabinet materials

Compensation details: 18-25 Hourly Wage
