Accounting Manager

An international parts sourcing company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our U.S. team.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the company’s financial initiatives. This role includes managing month-end close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and identifying root causes of financial discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will also support annual budgeting processes and assist with payroll, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analysis of the financial data posted to the application software for reasonableness and accuracy.
• Assist operation managers at some of divisions and divisional accounting clerks as it relates to accounting tasks.
• Oversee payable invoices activities issued by divisional accounting clerks.
• Review Division provided payroll information and prepare payroll entry.
• Prepare the internal monthly financial statements at single entity and assist the financial statement package for the parent company.
• Manage daily bank activities and assist accounting clerks for daily deposits.
• Work for the assigned projects with the supervision of the Treasurer.
• Other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• 3–5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience; CPA designation preferred.
• Direct experience with inventory reconciliation and inventory accounting is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
